Cultural Fusion: Our main aim is to deliver our customers an explosion of taste, textures and colours: an experience and knowledge of two cultures in one mouthful. We are honoured to be perfecting the art of traditional British baking, with a Jamaican twist.
Quality Ingredients: We pride ourselves on using the very best ingredients. To keep our products at a high standard, we use authentic Jamaican rum and spices as well as organic fruits. This is all so that we can offer our customers sweet, fiery rum infused cakes – a rum fiesta cake experience. We have a range of flavours such as strawberry champagne, brandy coffee and much more... cocktail cakes, you could call them.
Attention to Detail: We endeavour to cater to our customers’ individual needs, creating bespoke cakes in addition to our signature cakes, pastries and confectionery. There is no project or cake too big. In fact, we thrive on the challenge.
Community Focus: We are dedicated to helping our community and have organised money-raising events for the Jamaica Heart Foundation, Great Ormond Street Hospital and victims of the Grenfell Tower fire. We also run Young Baker Saturday classes and are collaborating with London South Bank University, the National School of Bakery and Croydon College to provide work experience.
Team Spirit: Team work makes the dream work! We have Pastry Chefs from a range of age groups, backgrounds and countries who manage our different departments (Vegan, Confectionery and Spirits), sharing ideas and learning from one another. The unique and versatile foundation that we have built together sets us apart in the world of baking.
