BMS Young Baker Saturday Classes
(8 to 16years)
Our Young Bakers Saturday Cooking Classes are a fun way for the children to keep busy and entertained during the weekends while learning to cook. Our core aim is to combat obesity amongst the youth in our community in a fun-filled way.
Children will learn how to bake a variety of scrumptious savory and sweet recipes on this course. We will cover a selection of recipes that he/she can practice and perfect at home. The children will also learn a variety of methods to produce perfect baked food. This might include baking bread, loaves, vánočka, salted caramel apple cake, chiffon cake and much more.
Over the duration of the course, each child will try their hand at more challenging pastries such as French tarts, chocolate éclairs, profiteroles, and baked cheesecakes. On completion of the course, they will be awarded a BMS Young Bakers Certificate and entered into our end-of-year BMS Young Bake Off Competition.
This course runs throughout the year and is paid for termly. Concessions are available.
